MONITORING & EVALUATION

MONITORING & EVALUATION
We are a data driven organisation that holds ourselves accountable for impact
EVALUATING ALL-YEAR LONG
Holding ourselves accountable to the learning improvements from our solutions
Every program has a meticulous reporting and data collection process that helps us define, document and assess the success of our interventions. Here are three metrics we use:
Regular tracking of student’s learning outcomes
Informal assessment (during school-visits as a dipstick assessment)
Teacher-led periodic assessment (twice every year)
Sample-based baseline and end-line assessments (annually)
Measuring quality of teaching and learning practices and classroom processes
Classroom observations
Spot assessments of students
Evidence-driven discussions and action plans
Studying how FLN in review meetings are held at cluster, block and district level (seen through the agenda and minutes of monthly review meetings and workshops.)
We also invite external monitoring and evaluation (M&E) experts to conduct their own assessments to ensure a fair study.
Innovative funding solutions
Our data-driven approach has resulted in building unique outcome focussed funding models
The Development Impact Bond (DIB) Haryana paved the way towards impact funding
We introduced an innovative 3 year program funding model where funding is directly linked with meeting targets set at the beginning of the project. We partnered with IndusInd bank, State bank of India, Central Square foundation and Educational Initiatives.
The objective of this program was to scale up the school demo work and build state specific primary school learning and teaching material.
The success of the DIB led to the creation of multiple other impact funding models with CSR funders and partners.
2027 MISSION
By 2027, we will impact 35 million children by influencing classroom practices of more than 2 million teachers and teacher educators
Your support can help us achieve this mission.
