Venkataramana is a passionate social development professional with 25 years of experience in managing large-scale education, school health, shelter/school construction and livelihood projects. He has experience of leading multicultural and multi-sectoral teams in various national and international development organisations like UNDP, Save the Children, Room to Read, Aga Khan Foundation and Naandi Foundation. His expertise lies in developing and managing government partnerships. Through his vast experience, he has gained deep understanding on government policies, planning, budgeting and implementation of large scale Govt. owned projects (District Primary Education Programme (DPEP) and SarvaShiksha Abhiyan (SSA)). He possesses excellent skills in strategic and operational management, partnership development and management, M&E, team building,proposal development, government relations, communication; public speaking; counselling; coaching / mentoring; negotiating; problem solving; planning and coordination.
