Supriya Ghosh is a skilled education professional with over a decade of experience in various capacities, ranging from pedagogy and curriculum design to administration. From her early days as a passionate teacher at Delhi Public School (Patna) and later as a headmistress of one of the Bombay Municipal Corporation schools, Supriya’s journey has been replete with learning, unlearning, and re-learning.
She has an M.A. in Education with a specialisation in Curriculum and Pedagogy from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, where her research dissertation, as part of field internship training, was titled “Critical Pedagogy as an Alternative to Life Skills Education for the Adolescent Girls from Non-Conventional Background: An Exploration.” She also completed a B.Ed. as well as an M.A. in English Literature. Her interest in foundational learning, critical pedagogy, inclusive education, and disability studies highlights her commitment to Learning for All.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Paulo Freire, Bell Hooks, Virginia Woolf, Maya Angelou, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and BrenĂ© Brown are among the personalities who have shaped her being, stirred up her thoughts and find their presence in her everyday endeavours.
