Meet Sonali Awasthi, an individual driven by her passion for education. With 5 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Sonali has made significant strides in empowering youth and fostering positive change.
Sonali worked at the Medha Foundation before her current role as a District Academic Coordinator in Ambala District at LLF. During her tenure there, she wore multiple hats and transitioned through three different roles in four and a half years. As an Area Manager, she demonstrated exceptional leadership and spearheaded end-to-end operations within the district while overseeing a team of trainers. As a Program Manager, she was responsible for developing and implementing tech-based programs aimed at transforming students’ lives by equipping them with essential computer skills. Her knack for managing complex stakeholder relationships and leading teams was evident throughout her career trajectory.
Sonali is a proud alumna of BHU with a degree in MSW, and her dedication to social causes extends beyond her professional endeavours. Before joining the workforce, she volunteered with ASMITA Childline, My Home India, and Umeed Foundation in Delhi, further solidifying her commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
Beyond her professional commitments, Sonali loves exploring the world through travel, immersing herself in different cultures and landscapes. She has trekked mountains and represented her state in hockey at the highest level, showcasing her prowess as a sports enthusiast.
