As a District Academic Coordinator in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, Shilpa Kumari brings forth a wealth of experience and dedication to the social sector. With 4 years and 7 months of enriching experience, she completed her Master’s in Social Work from Banaras Hindu University. Her journey commenced in June 2019 with the prestigious Gandhi Fellowship. Since then, she has not only excelled in her professional capacity but also extended her support to organisations like “Ghar Aye Nanhi Pari” and “Patna City Chair.”
Shilpa’s involvement in initiatives such as the Mentoring and Motivation Wing for G100: Mission Million has been particularly fulfilling, earning recognition, including a feature on Skilled Workforce Advancing Nation’s website on National Youth Day. Throughout her career, she has traversed diverse educational landscapes, from nurturing early childhood development to guiding ITI students. These experiences have provided her invaluable insights into different cultures and learning environments.
However, it’s the genuine joy she finds in interacting with students that truly drives her. Their boundless enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge inspire her daily, infusing every challenge with purpose and fulfilment. Alongside professional achievements, Shilpa has been honoured with accolades like the Champion of the Quarter award from the Medha Learning Foundation.
During her leisure time, she indulges in her passions for literature and travel, having explored parts of 15 states in India. Additionally, she finds solace and creativity in the meditative act of drawing.
