With a background in various teaching and leadership roles at organisations such as Educational Initiatives, Shiv Nadar School, and Foster and Forge Foundation, she brings over 7 years of diverse experience to her current position. As a first-generation graduate from a community where women often lack essential life skills for financial independence, Shaiza is passionate about empowering young women through mentorship and self-awareness. She believes in equipping them with the tools needed for problem-solving and independent living

In 2023, she was recognised as a LedBy Fellow, after completing the first of its kind Harvard Incubated leadership accelerator for Indian Muslim Women.

She specialises in cause marketing and business development and is also an IGCSE-certified science educator. Her goal is to deepen her understanding of education policies and their implementation by gaining experience in the development sector. In her free time, she enjoys painting and exploring new artistic media.
