Pooja has been serving as a Senior Specialist in language and literacy at the Language and Learning Foundation since 2019. Armed with a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, she brings over 17 years of dedicated experience in the realm of early literacy within the education sector. Throughout her career, Pooja has been deeply involved in various aspects such as teacher training, development of teaching-learning materials, curriculum enhancement, and the empowerment of internal teams and teacher educators. Prior to her current role, she held the position of program officer (Instructional Design and Technical Support) at Room to Read India Trust. Pooja’s passion lies in nurturing the youngest learners, aiming to support their holistic development encompassing academic, social, and language skills. Her overarching goal is to cultivate intellectually stimulating learning environments that inspire creativity and foster a sense of curiosity in every child.
