Om Prakash Singh serves as the Block Academic Coordinator in Block Badaguda, Sirsa District. With nearly 5 years of experience in the education sector, Om Prakash has demonstrated his commitment to improving literacy and numeracy levels in various regions.
Previously, he worked as a Literacy Facilitator for 3 years at Room to Read India Trust, where he operated in Kasdol and Bhata Para blocks of Baloda Bazar district, Chhattisgarh. During his tenure, he conducted training meetings at both block and cluster levels, carried out classroom observations, provided mentoring, and ensured effective monitoring of educational initiatives.
Additionally, Om Prakash served as a Block Coordinator for 6 months at the Language and Learning Foundation in the district of Jind. In this role, he focused on early language education programs in the Pehlu, Khedra, and Alewa blocks. His responsibilities included overseeing classroom observations at the school level, organising meetings at the block level, conducting teacher training clusters, establishing volunteer centres in collaboration with the community, providing training to volunteers, and conducting regular visits to assess children’s learning levels and support volunteers.
Currently, Om Prakash continues his dedication to education as the Block Academy Coordinator in Block Badaguda, Sirsa District, where he focuses on enhancing literacy and numeracy skills.
