Mohammad Ikram started his career in the development sector through the prestigious Gandhi Fellowship program, working in Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan, on teacher capacity building and community projects for two years. This experience allowed them to engage with rural communities and address educational barriers to girls’ education. In his earlier role as a Program Leader in Uttar Pradesh, his role involved strengthening the government education system through collaboration with officials, headmasters, and teachers and working closely with the system. He has also worked in implementing the Adolescence Education Program (Taalim-i-Naubalighan) in government-aided madrasas in Bihar.
Ikram completed his Master’s degree in Social Work from Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, in 2016.
