Dr. Mohammad Zahid Siddiqui
Dr. Mohammad Zahid Siddiqui oversees Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) initiatives at Language and Learning Foundation (LLF). His expertise lies in econometric analysis, survey methodology, and the seamless execution of monitoring, evaluation, and learning programs. His journey has been marked by passion for understanding the impact of financial incentives on maternal health, birth weight and children’s wasting status in Rajasthan during his tenure at IPE Global Ltd in Delhi. He had also worked on socio-economic disparities among sub-caste groups in Uttar Pradesh and delved into the complexities of pregnancy nutrition outcomes at Giri Institute for Development Studies, Lucknow. His valuable contributions extend to his consultancy work with National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. He has worked in Anaemia Mukt Bharat and the Obesity domain in POSHAN 2.0 at Institute of Economic Growth and NITI Aayog. Within academia, Zahid’s role as an assistant professor at Jamia Millia Islamia University showcased his dedication to teaching advanced econometrics, microeconomics, Indian economy, and economics of education.
His academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, and Psychology, alongside a master’s in Population Studies with a specialisation in health economics and a doctoral degree in regional development from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.
