Aarti Mangal is a research enthusiast and has undertaken research in the areas of teacher education, professional identity, curriculum and values. She has obtained academic degrees in the discipline of elementary education, gender studies and educational studies. Aarti’s work experience includes working in the capacity of Senior Consultant at Project Management Unit of SCERT/DIET, Delhi for implementation of NIPUN Bharat Programme; teaching BEd programme at a college of Indraprastha University and freelancing for a range of activities, viz., translation, review, editing, proofreading and training.

Additionally, she has presented and published academic papers at different national and international platforms. She has also published opinion articles in blogs and newspapers.

Aarti is a firm believer and promoter of constitutional values. She identifies integrity and conscience as her core values. Through her work, she wants to contribute to the transformation of the educational landscape of the country for the benefit of marginalised groups. In her free time, she likes to read literature and gaze at nature.
